Why Are Rain Boots Important?
In Oregon we know, playing outside in the rain is often the only way for a small child to get out and play! We also know, playing is how children learn. Exploring, experimenting and being curious are all playful ways children develop & grow through outdoor play.
Research shows us that playing outside helps children develop:
Fine & Gross Motor Skills, Scientific Thinking, Problem Solving and Imagination.
Whether it's going outside for a walk in the rain, practicing skipping rocks on the river or go digging for worms in your backyard, The Early Learning Hub of Clackamas County wants to encourage all children to explore, have fun, learn, and PLAY!

Provider Requests and Bulk Requests
If you are a day care, preschool, early learning program, non-profit or elementary school seeking multiple pairs of boots for one location, you can submit a bulk order Here. Due to capacity family caseworkers/advocates ordering in bulk (those with more than 7 pairs) for families they serve must pick up on Oct 7th at the CFCC Willamette Building at 112 11th St between 9am and 1pm. There will be no availability for our team to drop off bulk orders or any other bulk pick up events. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes. If the support person is unable to pick up this day please have families order their own boots and choose one of the many pick up locations around the county throughout the month of October.
If you have bulk order questions please email makeasplashclackamas@gmail.com
